Join the Leadership Team
AI Kitchen is looking for students who are curious, experimental, and ready to help shape something new. These roles are how the Kitchen runs.
All leadership roles involve about 8 hours per week. We're looking for people who are AI-forward (or at least AI-curious), willing to experiment, and deliberate about how they use AI in their work.

The backbone of AI Kitchen. Studio Leads run the Friday sessions, coordinate guest mentors, and make sure the space works for everyone who shows up.
- Plan and facilitate weekly Taste Test sessions
- Coordinate with industry mentors and guest speakers
- Support students working on Slow Roast projects
- Help onboard new leadership team members

- Run social media, email announcements, and campus outreach
- Build partnerships with other student orgs and departments
- Grow attendance and awareness across non-engineering majors
~8 hours/week

The person who shapes the look, feel, and personality of AI Kitchen. This role combines design skills with a willingness to leverage AI tools in the creative process.
- Define AI Kitchen's visual identity and brand tone
- Design graphics, custom Discord emojis, and event materials
- Create a welcoming, inclusive feel across all touchpoints
- Use AI tools as part of the creative workflow (not required for everything, but be experimental)

AI HR Lead
The people person of AI Kitchen. The AI HR Lead identifies students who'd be a great fit for the initiative, manages recruitment and onboarding, and fosters the growth and social experience of everyone in the organization. Use AI tools to discover potential members and streamline people operations. You'll also take on projects like the AI Kitchen Personalized Onboarding system: an AI chatbot that helps visitors discover how AI is relevant to them, and a personalized welcome email pipeline that replaces generic onboarding with something that makes people feel seen.
- Scout for potential members and leaders across campus using AI-powered research (LinkedIn, X, campus networks)
- Manage the recruitment pipeline and onboarding experience for new members and leaders
- Foster team culture, plan social activities, and support the development of current members
- Track engagement and identify students who are ready to take on bigger roles
~8 hours/week
